Welcome!

The Cal Ripken League represents one of the most respected ballplayers and families in baseball history. The league began play in the summer of 2005 and has made great strides in becoming one of the premier summer wood bat leagues in the country.

We strive to instill three major values in our ballplayers each summer: respect for the game of baseball, respect for the Ripken name and Cal Ripken, Sr.'s legacy, and respect for themselves both on and off the field. This is a time for our players to grow their games, to form lasting friendships, and to experience summer baseball in one of the most diverse regions in the United States.

We look forward to seeing you out at our eight wonderful baseball communities this summer and beyond. Your support in hosting our student athletes each summer, volunteering at ballgames, and following our League as fans will continue to drive our growth in the community, as well as our standing among summer college baseball leagues nationwide.

Thank you!

Robert M. Douglas
Commissioner
